Fall is my favorite season. Crisp, cold air; golden, orange and red leaves; harvest; pumpkins; spooks and witches.
I’m going to give you some suggestions for having fun in the fall, but you have to do this first. Clear your calendar so you can spend time with your family and friends!
Suggestions, In No Particular Order
- Rake leaves (not fun) and jump in them.
- Visit a pumpkin farm.
- Buy fresh apple cider.
- Eat apple cider donuts.
- Carve a jack-o-lantern.
- Make caramel apples.
- Plant fall flowers.
- Make cider sangria. (While we’re at it, here’s a link to several cocktails with fall flavors.)
- Make s’mores over a backyard bonfire.
- Make desserts using apples, pumpkin, pecans, caramel and more.
- Tailgate at a football game.
- Make your own Halloween costume.
- Find an orchard, pick some apples, and make some really good stuff.
- Open the windows and let that crisp air in.
- Take a drive to see the fall foliage. Here are fifty great places.
Here’s A Tip
If you have cats or dogs, include them in the fun!
